we went to Sarangkot to see the sunrise. according to LP "the view of the annapurna himalaya from sarangkot is almost a religious experience"

disappointingly, it was much less than that. i blamed it on Gunung Bromo in indonesia, this paled in comparison. or maybe i was a victim of the lonely planet hype, the reality couldn't live up to the expectation i'd built up in my head

ok, it wasn't quite the religious experience, but watching the himalayas slowly take shape in the foggy sunrise wasn't bad though
