at Phnom Bakheng, a hindu temple at Angkor - our first day, we went to watch the sunset from the top. it's built on the highest hill around, and the view when you get to the top is pretty spectacular.

our guide. after hanging out with him a couple of days, i asked him about the Khmer Rouge & found out his entire family had been killed by the KR. he entered a monastery after KR's end since that was the way he could be fed & educated
